2009 Ray Martz Memorial Thanksgiving Classic Tournament Application

If you are a Recreational (not Signature, Select, All-Star, Club, etc.) team affiliated with the USSF, you are cordially invited to apply for participation in the annual Ray Martz Memorial Thanksgiving Classic, hosted by the Rialto Youth Soccer League.

The Ray Martz Memorial Thanksgiving Classic is a Class III tournament for recreation teams only, affiliated with the USSF. The advantage of coming to our tournament is that all games are played at one location. We will also try as much as possible, to minimize same-league teams from playing each other in bracket play.

"Hi, it's Liz...

Wow, how wonderful to see the tournament is still going! ...As for the question of who was Ray...he was a wonderful, big-hearted man who loved being with his family and sharing laughter with everyone. Ray just wanted all kids to have fun playing soccer and enjoying the time with family and friends. Anyone who knew Ray, knew the laughter, and won't forget his generosity. Thank you to all of you who have volunteered your time for this tournament and for any organization that promotes family and friendship. I, too was on the board and even just as a parent, we all know the time given to keep up with practices, games, etc. You'll be rewarded with smiles and memories that no amount of money could buy.
